The Fit Way is fitness for women, run by women. Group fitness classes are resistance and cardio focussed (FIT Full Body, FIT Focussed and FIT Play) and Mat Pilates. Class numbers are capped so we are able to give personal attention. We also take the time to get to know you personally, understand your fitness goals, and help you achieve them – it’s not a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Our classes will get you fit and strong, however we let everyone go at their own pace so you’ll never feel out of your depth. We are here to support and push you to achieve your best no matter what level you are at! And of course if group fitness is not your thing, you can book 1-1 personal training sessions.
The Fit Way training is great for any woman who wants to train in a controlled group environment or work 1-1 with your own personal trainer. Our goal is for you to enjoy your training, look forward to working out and achieve great results. All ages, fitness levels and experience are welcome and catered for! We love it when clients look at training as an investment to their health, wellness and longevity.
The culture at The Fit Way is very inclusive and not at all competitive, the most important thing is to just start. All of our group fitness sessions are designed so that you can go at your own pace and chose your own resistance / level – this is done by providing easier and harder options with each exercise. If you are worried at all, have a chat to the trainer before class, or give us a call to enquire about personal training session(s) to build your knowledge and confidence before trying a group class.

We have tried to keep our options for joining as flexible as possible. Please see the PRICES page under the GROUP CLASSES tab on the website for costs and the PERSONAL TRAINING page for private training prices. Membership options are the most cost effective way to train with The Fit Way. We recommend being consistent with your training to see and feel results.
Yes, in addition to personal training for 1-2 people, we can organise private group training or a workplace exercise class. This can be a pilates or strength/cardio session. Please contact us via the CONTACT page to discuss your requirements.
Bring along your baby/child or come alone. There is no creche or nanny however we workout in a space where your child can stay close to you. Feel free to bring along a family member or friend to watch your little one too! Bring along a mat and toys to keep them entertained! Classes are either Circuit Training (full body workout with resistance and cardio training) or Mat Pilates. The classes are designed to build up your strength (needed for lifting babies!), improve posture (Mums spend a lot of time with rounded shoulders breastfeeding, pushing prams etc), look after the abdominals and pelvic floor, burn some calories and most importantly have some much needed time for yourself and to socialise with other parents! Lots of modifications and exercise variations given as required!
If you have any concerns please consult your doctor or a physio before starting training. We also require you to complete a questionnaire before starting with The Fit Way so we can find out if there is anything we need to be careful of and modify exercises accordingly.
We will place you on the waitlist and advise you if a spot becomes available.
If you know you are not going to make a class you have booked, please cancel through the app or email firstname.lastname@example.org. This helps us plan our classes and also allows your spot to be given to another client if there is a waitlist. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellation Time Frame: 6am /6.10am Classes must be cancelled 10 hours prior (by 8pm night prior).9.30am, 4.30pm, 5.00pm and Saturday 8.30am, 3 hours required.
Location changes will be given in wet weather. If it’s light rain or on & off again showers we will use a covered outdoor area. In heavy rain we will use the Lennox Scout Hall, Heart of Dance Studio or Wigmore Hall. All Suffolk Park classes are indoors. Clients will be notified prior to class with any location or venue changes.
To book a casual group class please go to the GROUP CLASSES tab on the website and click on the BOOK CLASS tab. If you are a member, please download the GymMaster App and use your log-in details. This will let you chose the type of class, date and time. If you need any assistance please email email@example.com or call 0415 977 000.
Memberships are a minimum 28 day period.
Memberships may be cancelled after 28 days with a 14 day notice period and must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You may freeze your membership for a minimum 2 weeks, maximum 3 months with no fee applied. Please submit freeze requests in writing to email@example.com.
10 Class Packs are valid for 6 months. 5 Class Packs are valid for 4 months.
No refunds are available however you may transfer any classes you have to someone else and notify The Fit Way in writing.

Our Group Fitness Classes are designed for women. However, men are welcome to book personal training sessions, private small group training and workplace sessions.
